On the afternoon of December 13, 2013, Professor Andrew Hamilton,Vice Chancellor of the University of Oxford, Ms. Liesl Elder, Director of Development, Oxford, Mr. Jeremy Woodall, Director of Development (Asia), Oxford and Ms. Jennifer Tung, Project Officer of Development (Asia), Oxford made a visit to the Kaifeng Foundation. Upon their arrival, the guests were warmly welcomed by Dr. Whitney Duan, Chairwoman of the Board,Secretary General Gan Dongyu and Deputy Secretary General Cindy Sheng at the Kaifeng Institute of Tsinghua University.During the hour and a half talk, Dr. Whitney Duan shared reasons for theestablishment of the Foundation, its vision, and its mission. In addition, Mr.Gan Dongyu and Ms. Cindy Sheng briefed Professor Andrew Hamilton on the practices and ideas for the future development of the Kaifeng Institute.Professor Andrew Hamilton and other members of the delegation expressed their appreciation for the Foundation and the Institute and looked forward tofurther establishing a strategic partnership for collaboration.
